Okinawa Dojo by Karate Bros is a result-oriented Aurora and Denver Martial Arts institution owned and operated by two brothers Sensei Vitaly Padalka and Sensei Alex Padalka. We are proud to represent USA Karate as an affiliated karate club in Denver, Colorado. At Okinawa Dojo by KarateBros you and your child will learn Olympic Karate - Shotokan style. Do not get confused - you won't be learning MMA (mixed martial arts), Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga or Kung Fu at this Dojo. We teach true Shotokan (ๆพๆฟค้คจ). Shotokan was founded by a great master Gichin Funakoshi in the early XX century and is the most widely practiced style of karate in the World nowadays. Our approach to teaching martial arts is a mix of traditional japanese and modern competitive. Our students learn basics (Kihon), forms (Kata) and sparrings (Kumite). If you think that karate is an individual sport - you are mistaken - we are a big karate family #DreamTeamOkinawa, we train as a team and we rise together as a team! Our goal is to be the best karate school Denver can offer!
Karate brothers Alex and Vitaly are USA National Karate Federation Certified Coaches and Referees, USA SafeSport trained and ceritfied. Senseis are World, Continental and National Champions with over 50 years of combined karate teaching experience.
Karate classes available to everyone regardless of age or skill level:
- Kids 4-6 years old (Pre-Karate)
- Kids 7-13 years old (groups: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Teenagers and Adults 14 years and older

World-renowned kata master Sensei Javier Mantilla @javiermantilla3028 shared his knowledge with the next generation of athletes during the High Caliber Denver weekend. As the USA Karate Head Kata Coach and Olympic Kata Coach, Sensei Mantilla brought unmatched energy, precision, and attention to detail - breaking down technique, timing, and performance at an elite level.
Advanced, elite, and para-karate athletes from across the country came together to sharpen their skills, deepen their understanding, and push their limits.

Every year this tournament grows, but this year truly felt special. None of it would be possible without the amazing people who came together to make it happen. โจ
First and foremost, to our incredible team of volunteers - thank you! ๐๐๐Parents, athletes, coaches, and friends stepped in wherever help was needed. Many of you took on multiple roles throughout the day and kept everything running smoothly. From scorekeeping, podium coordination, announcing, mat loading, transportation, check-in, coaching support, food runs, DJ duties, and countless behind-the-scenes tasks โ every role mattered. Your energy, teamwork, and dedication are the backbone of this event.
To our referees and judges - we are truly grateful. ๐ Thank you for traveling from all across the United States to support High Caliber Denver. We were honored to host officials representing the highest levels of the sport, including WKF, PKF, USA Karate judges and referees. Your professionalism, integrity, and commitment ensured that every match was conducted with fairness and respect for the athletes. A special thank you to our Head Referee - Sensei Fariba Madani @madanifariba for leading such an outstanding officiating team.
