Okinawa Dojo by Karate Bros is a result-oriented Aurora and Denver Martial Arts institution owned and operated by two brothers Sensei Vitaly Padalka and Sensei Alex Padalka. We are proud to represent USA Karate as an affiliated karate club in Denver, Colorado. At Okinawa Dojo by KarateBros you and your child will learn Olympic Karate - Shotokan style. Do not get confused - you won't be learning MMA (mixed martial arts), Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga or Kung Fu at this Dojo. We teach true Shotokan (松濤館). Shotokan was founded by a great master Gichin Funakoshi in the early XX century and is the most widely practiced style of karate in the World nowadays. Our approach to teaching martial arts is a mix of traditional japanese and modern competitive. Our students learn basics (Kihon), forms (Kata) and sparrings (Kumite). If you think that karate is an individual sport - you are mistaken - we are a big karate family #DreamTeamOkinawa, we train as a team and we rise together as a team! Our goal is to be the best karate school Denver can offer!
Karate brothers Alex and Vitaly are USA National Karate Federation Certified Coaches and Referees, USA SafeSport trained and ceritfied. Senseis are World, Continental and National Champions with over 50 years of combined karate teaching experience.
Karate classes available to everyone regardless of age or skill level:
- Kids 4-6 years old (Pre-Karate)
- Kids 7-13 years old (groups: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Teenagers and Adults 14 years and older

The Okinawa Team was represented by 28 athletes, 6 coaches, and awesome parents!
Fort Worth, Texas welcomed us with its finest hospitality, nice weather, and good food. The tournament venue was just perfect for this kind of event.
Let’s talk about the level of competition - the 2024 US Open attracted 1250 athletes from 33 countries. The level this year was definitely higher, especially in all Elite divisions. US Karate is doing exceptional work to improve this event. Thank you for bringing top World athletes to USA. The Coaches’ corner was a nice touch.

The team looked really good on Tatami. There is always room for improvement and we know exactly what we need to focus on. Some mistakes were made, somewhere we came a little short, but overall we, the Senseis are very proud of each athlete on our team, regardless of the result. The support you all show to each other, the interactions during long busy tournament days, and the way we all have fun together as a team means more than anything else.
